It always has and I am sure it always will.

A trip to center city Philadelphia for a newborn portrait session is always a good day. I met this little guy last week. Since he decided to enter the world a few weeks earlier than we expected he got bumped ahead on the session calendar.  Thankfully he was healthy enough to go right home with no delays. Thanks for hanging out with me buddy, I will always remember the 9 smiles you gave me along with the 6 yawns you managed to share every single time I put the camera down!

I take pride in my work and am so humbled when clients hang their portraits on their walls. Now we all love an 8×10…for many it’s all we knew growing up. I remember when I was little an 8×10 was considered an enlargement. Well not anymore! Don’t get me wrong, I still love when clients order them for family gifts or for their work desk. When it comes to your walls though I really don’t recommend anything less than a 16×20 or 16×24.  I love designing wall art together with the client to create timeless collections that they will enjoy for years to come. Here’s a great example of what each size looks like above the average living room couch.

Lucky for these two, I am always up for a challenge! Newborn twins Mischa and Dillon were absolutely wonderful for their portrait session. Their big brother even got in on the fun! He was a great little helper and deserved his trip to the Please Touch Museum for doing such a great job….yes we sometimes need a little bribe when working with kids LOL! Here’s a few of my favorites while I work on the rest of their gallery.
